Lumpkin County Youth Mountain Bike Team (Grades 6–12). Engineering speed, building character, and conquering the Georgia trails. 

the precision of teamwork

We are the Lumpkin County Youth Mountain Bike Team. We accept riders in grades 6th–12th, boys and girls. We are part of the Georgia Cycling Association. Practices take place three times a week from July through October at Jake and Bull Trails. Our volunteer coaches teach skills, teamwork, and create a fun environment.

lcmtb is currently comprised of the following:

All 6th through 12th grade boys and girls in Lumpkin County can join our team. We’re proud to bring together riders of all skill levels to build confidence, develop skills, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

“Our coaches undergo yearly
background checks and receive
extensive training in concussion
awareness, risk management, first-aid,
and CPR, alongside specialized training
for coaching mountain bike skills.”

Our “fun first” philosophy focuses on developing strong mind, body, and character. there are 5 optional races, but some team members are just on the team because they enjoy biking and coming to practice
